ALMARKAZ: WHEN SMALL THING AFFECTS EVERYTHING (Chaidir)

Shalat, a worship held five times in a day, is the most fundamental aspect in Muslim life. Furthermore, it is not exaggerating to say that shalatis the key of every kindness we do in the world. By that reason, every Muslim must maximize their effort, for instance doing shalat in the Mosque in order to get double reward. However, it is not going to be a successful worship when mosque does not provide supports, such as cleanliness. This essay portrays Al Markaz as a place which is not suitable for prayers anymore.

Warning of “footwear forbidden area” does not affect the people anymore. To begin with, it is a well-known truth that having a higher education does not make people educated. For instance, most people coming to the mosque do not use their eyes anymore. In fact, a very large warning provided in the mosque does not even work anymore. In the other words, the visitors keep wearing their footwear.

No one cares about the blind visitors anymore, as reminding each other is not becoming a characteristic of Muslim nowadays. In fact, the green outfit guards, a hope for keeping discipline in Al Markaz,  are not strict to the people wearing footwear in that forbidden area.

As a consequence, it is believed that Al Markaz is no longer proper to use as a place to take prayers because the Muslim does not pay attention to cleanliness anymore.
