Computer Based System ( CBT ) (Muhlis)

        Computer Based system ( CBT ) also known as the online national exam will take part some schools. The participating schools have passed a verification process and have received approval by the Education and Culture Ministry. Others schools will continue to conduct conventional paper based test. schools that are allowed to organize an online national exam must fulfill several requirements, including computer availability and stable internet connectivity. On the other hand, schools that is approved to apply this policy by the education and culture ministry have to be ready to implement Computer Based System  ( CBT ) as a trial for students. Goverment has to concern the problem of the implementation of online national exam. If goverment is not ready yet, goverment can cancel it as a consideration. That is why, the system must be prepared well.

      However, there are several matters that need extra attention from the ministry such as mental students because this is a new thing and the readiness for all schools and authorities as well as the number of police that is going to participate in making the national online schools will be transparant. We acknowledged that the education system in indonesia should be oriented to quality. Schools authority doesn’t always see from how many students passed the exam. The most important point that schools want to their student passed the exam without seeing any consequences.

     How ironic, the exam is seen as a terrible thing, guarded by police, camera surveilance, and so on, which made the students to become afraid of the exam. This is wrong step for the ministry to apply Computer Based System. Generally, this policy refers to the quantity, instead of quality. The schools would be better to objectively evaluate the students and provide an understanding and manners in order to give a good mental for students before facing the online national exam.
