“BLUSUKAN”. Did
you ever hear this word? Recently, the word is always heard on TV, news paper
and magazine. Blusukan is identified as the way of governing from Jokowi who
instructs every minister and staff to work, work, and work. . Blusukan is a way
to meet citizens directly. So, the government can know the real condition of
citizen and what the citizens want. This paper is going to talk about the strength
and weakness of blusukan.
Many benefits are coming from blusukan. Firstly,
blusukan can make relationship between citizen and their leader closer.
Secondly, the citizens feel that they are appreciated by president. It can make
the leader be a popular person. Thirdly, president can understand the willingness
of citizen and give them solutions. President can share his visions and missions
in front of the citizen and what visions and mission he has done it.
However, many people think that blusukan only one way
to make Jokowi a popular human. Jokowi uses the media to make himself president
and takes many profits for himself and his party (PDIP). It has been proven
that Jokowi will increase the price of BBM. Jokowi will get much money from his
policy. Moreover, blusukan done by Jokowi with his ministers looks amazing in
media. For example, there are ministers jumping fence, visiting traditional
market, and etc.
As a conclusion, blusukan of Jokowi has more weakness
than strength. Jokowi does blusukan only to make him popular not to solve our
citizen problem.
